Seven who died in Libyan boat accident were identified by their passports

Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has confirmed that seven of the people who died in the Libyan boat accident were Pakistani citizens.
According to the FIA, seven of the 16 people who died in the Libyan boat accident were Pakistanis, who were identified by their passports.
The FIA said that the seven Pakistanis who died in the accident were residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, of which six are from Kurram and one from Bajaur.
It is pertinent to note that the Pakistani embassy in Libya said yesterday that the boat carrying 65 passengers capsized near the port of Marsa Dilla.
Initial information had revealed that 16 Pakistanis died in the accident, but the bodies of only 10 of the people who died yesterday were recovered.
