Stability provided an opportunity for Pakistan to sign 10-year development plan agreement


Washington: World Bank Country Director for Pakistan Naje Benhissan says that economic stability is strengthening in Pakistan.
In a statement, Naje Benhissan said that economic stability is strengthening in Pakistan, which has provided an opportunity for Pakistan to sign a 10-year development plan agreement.
He stated that this plan will consist of $20 billion in development loans under the new Country Partnership Framework.
Naje Benhissan added that this funding will be used in areas such as clean energy and environmental restoration, while the project will start in 2026.
He further said that long-term development plans are being formulated and are in line with the priorities of the World Bank Group.
