Due to rain, match will consist of 15 overs per innings


Dunedin: The hosts defeated Pakistan in the second T20I as well.
The toss of the match played in Dunedin was delayed due to rain. Pakistan had set a target of 136 runs for New Zealand, which the Kiwis achieved in 13.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.
New Zealand won the toss and elected to field against Pakistan in the second match of the five-match T20I series, but due to rain, the match was reduced to 15 overs per inning.
Pakistan's batting
Pakistan did not start well against New Zealand and the first wicket fell for 01 run in which opener Hassan Nawaz was dismissed for zero, after which Muhammad Haris could not stay at the crease for long and returned to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs for a total of 19.
Pakistan's third wicket fell for 50 runs and Irfan Khan was dismissed for 11 runs, while the fourth wicket after the third fell for 52 runs in which Khushdil Shah was dismissed for only 02 runs.
Pakistan's fifth wicket fell for 76 runs and captain Salman Agha was dismissed for 46 runs off 28 balls, with Shadab scoring 26 runs off 14 balls and losing his wicket for a total of 110.
Pakistan's seventh wicket fell for 111 runs and Jahandad Khan was dismissed for zero while Pakistan's eighth wicket fell for 114 runs. Abdul Samad could score 11 runs while the ninth wicket fell for 135 runs and Haris Rauf was run out after scoring one run.
Pakistan set a target of 136 runs for New Zealand to win in 15 overs.
One change has been made in the national team for the second T20. Haris Rauf has returned to the team in place of spinner Abrar Ahmed.
It is pertinent to note that the host New Zealand have a 1-0 lead in the five-match series against Pakistan.
