Deceased were going from Gwadar to Karachi


Gwadar: Another bloodbath has taken place in Balochistan, where six people were killed in firing by unknown assailants in Gwadar.
The firing incident took place in the Kalmat area of Gwadar, where unknown assailants opened fire on passengers going from Gwadar to Karachi.
Police say that five people died on the spot while one person was injured in the firing.
However, the person injured also died during treatment, after which the death toll has reached six.
According to the police, the deceased were going from Gwadar to Karachi, one of whom belongs to Multan, while the process of identifying the others is underway.
Interior Minister condemns incident
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the firing incident on passengers in Kalmat, saying that the terrorists targeted innocent people in a cowardly act.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased and said that killing innocent people unjustly is a crime against humanity, and targeting travelers after identifying them is barbaric and brutal.
He stated that cowardly acts cannot weaken the nation’s resolve against terrorism.
It is pertinent to note that a firing incident had also taken place in the Mangchar area of Balochistan in the past few days, in which four laborers from Punjab were killed.
According to Assistant Commissioner Mangchar Ali Gul, unknown armed men opened fire on laborers working on a tube well installation in Malangzai, Mangchar, resulting in the death of four people.
He said that the deceased belonged to Sadiqabad.
