Instagram rolls out new feature to watch reels faster
There has been high demand for this feature from users

(Web Desk): Instagram has introduced a new feature for its users.
Now, you will be able to watch Reels videos faster on Instagram. Yes, really, the photo-sharing app owned by Meta will allow you to watch Reels at 2x speed.
To use this feature, simply press and hold the video screen for a while, and the video speed will increase.
An Instagram spokesperson stated that this feature is being introduced for all users. According to the spokesperson, this feature was not part of Instagram in the past, and now we confirm that it will soon be available to all users.
The spokesperson also mentioned that there has been a high demand for this feature from users. Watching Reels at a faster speed will help users save time.
This feature is being introduced at a time when Instagram has extended the duration of Reels videos from 15 seconds to 3 minutes. Additionally, some leaks suggest that the duration of Reels videos might be extended to 10 minutes.
This move is seen as Instagram copying TikTok, which allows posting videos up to 10 minutes long and viewing them at double speed.
