Hindu extremists attack and kill Sharif for refusing Holi colors

In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh, India, a 53-year-old Muslim man, Mohammad Sharif, was murdered for refusing to participate in the Holi celebrations.
The incident occurred two weeks ago in the city of Unnao, where extremists reportedly attacked and beat Sharif to death after he declined to have Holi colors applied to him.
Initially, the local police claimed that Mohammad Sharif's death was caused by a heart attack. However, his family members, believing this to be an attempt to cover up the murder, protested by placing his body on the road, demanding justice for the brutal act.
Despite their efforts, the police did not take action against the perpetrators and instead filed a case against Sharif's family members, accusing them of disrupting public order.
This response has drawn sharp criticism from opposition political parties, who have condemned the police's handling of the case.
Opposition leaders have called for a thorough investigation into the incident and demanded that those responsible for the murder be held accountable.
