Talagang, Jhelum, Chakwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Gujrat, and Gujranwala are likely to receive rain and possibly hail


(Web Desk): Pakistan's Meteorological Department has predicted rain, thunderstorms, and hail in many parts of the country over the next few days.
According to the weather advisory, rain is expected in Islamabad and northern areas from April 16 to 18, with more showers likely on the evening of April 20. Cities such as Talagang, Jhelum, Chakwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Gujrat, and Gujranwala are also likely to receive rain and possibly hail.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, areas including Swat, Shangla, Buner, Mardan, and Peshawar are expected to experience rain and hail between April 16 and 20. Murree, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Bannu, Galiyat, and Waziristan are also on the forecast list.
Southern Punjab could face strong winds and thunderstorms on April 18 and 19. The Met Office has warned of possible landslides in Murree, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Galiyat. People are advised to stay away from trees and electric poles during storms.
Meanwhile, Sindh will remain mostly dry and extremely hot this week. Karachi is expected to see temperatures between 35°C and 39°C from Tuesday to Thursday, with high humidity around 81%.
Temperatures will be even higher in interior Sindh. Hyderabad may reach between 44°C and 48°C, while Nawabshah could hit 49°C by Thursday. Sukkur, Mohenjo-daro, and Dadu are likely to face highs from 43°C to 48°C.
Thatta will see temperatures between 36°C and 40°C, along with high humidity. Mithi is expected to experience temperatures from 43°C to 47°C over the next few days.
