Karachi will remain warm and increasingly humid over the next three days

(Web Desk): The recent heat spell in Karachi has eased, but the Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned of another round of extreme heat across Sindh from April 24 to 29.
According to the Early Warning Centre, Karachi will remain warm and increasingly humid over the next three days. The city's temperature may reach 39°C on Wednesday and stay around 38°C on Thursday and Friday.
Although Karachi is not expected to face the full impact of the upcoming heatwave, many areas in interior Sindh are likely to experience much higher than normal temperatures.
The most affected districts may include Dadu, Qambar Shahdadkot, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Naushero Feroze, Larkana, Sukkur, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad, and Badin. In these places, temperatures could rise 6 to 8 degrees above average.
In Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas, temperatures are expected to be 4 to 6 degrees higher than normal.
The Met Office has advised people in affected areas to take care, avoid going out during peak heat hours, and stay hydrated. The high temperatures may continue until early next week.
