India given befitting reply, more to come if provoked: Rana Sanaullah

(Web Desk): Prime Minister's Political Advisor and senior PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has said that India has already been given a befitting response, and if it refrains from further aggression, there will be no irresponsible action from Pakistan's side.

Speaking to reporters, he said in response to a question that both the government and the Army Chief have made it clear: if India makes a move, it will be met with a strong and decisive reply.

He also stated that India has already received a strong response, and if it takes further action, an even harsher response will follow.

Rana Sanaullah added that if India does not attack, then as a responsible state, the stance of the government and Army Chief is that Pakistan has conveyed to the world that no irresponsible behavior will come from its side if there is no Indian incursion.

It is worth noting that after India’s cowardly attack today, the emergency meeting of the National Security Committee held at the Prime Minister’s Office has concluded. During the meeting, Pakistan's armed forces were granted full authority to carry out retaliatory actions against India.

The crucial meeting of the National Security Committee was chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and attended by federal ministers and military chiefs. The committee was briefed on the situation following the Indian attacks, rising tensions, and current developments.

As per the official statement issued after the meeting, Pakistan reserves the full right to defend itself and has urged the international community to take notice of Indian aggression. The nation is proud of its military’s courage and timely response. The global community must recognize India’s aggressive actions.

The committee further stated that Pakistan desires peace but will not compromise on its sovereignty. The armed forces have been granted permission to respond.
