Met Dept has warned dusty winds in Lahore

Lahore: Punjab, including the provincial capital Lahore, is in the grip of intense heat, and the mercury is likely to reach 43 degrees.
During the intense heat wave across Punjab, the heat of the sun has increased so much that the roads are starting to heat up, and the citizens are facing severe problems due to hot winds.
The Meteorological Department has warned that dusty winds are likely to blow in Lahore in the afternoon, which may make the weather even drier.
The minimum temperature in Lahore today was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is likely to rise to 43 degrees Celsius. The weather is predicted to remain hot and dry for the next 2-3 days, and there is no possibility of rain.
The intense heat is affecting the daily routines of the citizens. There is less rush in the markets and streets, while there is a significant increase in the demand for cold drinks and water.
Health experts have advised citizens to drink plenty of water and beverages to avoid heat, cover their heads when in the sun, and avoid going out unnecessarily. The elderly, children, and the sick have been advised to take special precautions.
