After a three-hour effort, the fire was successfully extinguished

Karachi: A massive fire broke out at a garment factory near Landhi Murtaza Chowrangi, destroying goods worth millions.
On Tuesday morning, a sudden fire erupted at the garment factory located in the Awami Colony police jurisdiction near Landhi Murtaza Chowrangi. The flames quickly intensified, prompting police and rescue teams to rush to the scene. KMC Fire Brigade and Rescue 1122 teams were immediately called in for assistance.
Upon arrival, the KMC Fire Brigade and Rescue 1122 began a rescue operation to bring the fire under control. The fire had started on the third floor of the factory, specifically in the large storage and cutting department. Due to the thick smoke filling the factory, more than five individuals, including factory workers, fell unconscious and were promptly shifted to the hospital.
The fire brigade used a smoke injector to ventilate the factory and remove the smoke. After a three-hour effort, the fire was successfully extinguished. However, goods worth a significant amount were completely destroyed in the blaze.
