French President Emmanuel Macron says Israel's forced displacement of Palestinians is unacceptable

Jakarta: French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that his country is seriously considering recognizing the Palestinian state under certain conditions, calling the move a moral obligation.
During a joint press conference in Jakarta with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Macron expressed deep concern over the current situation in Gaza, saying that unless conditions improve, France will have to adopt a tougher stance toward Israel.
He further stated that Israel's forced displacement of Palestinians is unacceptable, and emphasized that France’s Middle East policy does not follow any double standards.
Meanwhile, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto also strongly supported a two-state solution for Palestine, calling it the only path to lasting peace in the region.
It is worth noting that since October 2023, Israeli bombings and attacks have resulted in the deaths of over 54,000 Palestinians in Gaza, a large number of whom were women and children.
