Police arrest main accused Waqar Ahmed; legal proceedings are underway

(Web Desk): In the Jamrud area of Khyber district, a student has reportedly died after being subjected to brutal violence by the school principal.
According to details, a fifth-grade student, Ittihad, son of Khyal Mat Khan, was allegedly beaten severely by Principal Waqar Ahmed during the school assembly over a minor issue, leaving the young boy critically injured.
The injured student was immediately taken to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
DPO Khyber, Rai Mazhar Iqbal, took notice of the incident and directed Jamrud SHO, Naseem Khan, to take immediate action. Police arrested the main accused, Waqar Ahmed, and placed him in custody. Further legal proceedings are underway.
DPO Rai Mazhar Iqbal stated that violence against children and women will not be tolerated under any circumstances. “No one has the right to misuse the sacred role of a teacher to commit acts of cruelty. We will make this case an example so that no one dares to harm children in the name of education again,” he added.
