Storms, rain are also predicted in areas of KP from July 13 to 17


Lahore: Rains have been predicted in various cities of the country from today to July 17.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued an alert for the third spell of monsoon rains and has predicted wind and rain in most districts of Punjab from July 11 to 17.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, rains are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, and Jhang.
Due to the rains, air operations in the country have been severely affected, and many flights have been canceled and delayed.
In addition, heavy rains are also predicted in Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Okara, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Mianwali.
The spokesperson said that rain with thundershowers is also expected in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, DG Khan, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Layyah from July 13 to 17.
On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain with thundershowers in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while there is a risk of landslides in Murree and Galiyat.
Storms and rain are also predicted in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 13 to 17.
