Spike in Covid cases: Balochistan govt announces two-week lockdown in Gwadar
Quetta: Following an increase in the coronavirus cases in the port city, the Balochistan government has announced two-week lockdown in Gwadar district from July 25.
According to a notification, the lockdown will be imposed in four tehsils of the district. However, food outlets, medical stores, and fuel pumps will remain open. Only vaccinated customers will be allowed to visit these shops.
The tourists and visitors have been restricted to visit the district during the lockdown period. Meawnhile, all parks, playgrounds and gatherings will remain banned for two weeks.
The fish market will also remain closed, however, fishermen with vaccination certificates will be allowed hunting during the lockdown.
