Recognition in Belgium reinforces Pakistan's strategic objective of promoting its natural resources in high-value industries worldwide

São Paulo: Pakistan's Himalayan Pink Salt has received international recognition in Belgium, featured in an award-winning innovation that combines Amazonian biodiversity with Pakistan's unique natural resources.
The innovation, a soap produced under the Savana Amazônica brand in Boa Vista, Roraima, was honored with an international innovation award at the Women in Agritech – Global Summit of Women in Agribusiness and Biotechnology held in Belgium from September 24 to 27.
Pakistan's Minister of Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating that Pakistan's Himalayan Pink Salt is a natural treasure that symbolizes both the country's cultural heritage and economic potential.
Dr Muhammad Babar Chohan, Trade and Investment Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan in Brazil, noted that this achievement demonstrates how partnerships between Pakistan's unique mineral resources and Brazil's biodiversity can create world-class products with international appeal.
