Experts warn that the Nipah virus is a highly contagious and dangerous disease that can cause severe respiratory distress and fatal encephalitis. It can be transmitted from animals to humans, and human-to-human transmission is also possible, prompting neighboring countries of India to strengthen their preventive measures.
