Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the fourth wave of coronavirus amid threat of highly contagious Indian delta variant.


According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,221 cases of coronavirus were reported while 95 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 24,573.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 1,105,300.
As many as 993,304 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,896 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 373,718 in the province with 11,412 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 413,379 in the province, while the death toll has reached 6,475.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 153,134 in the province with 4,679 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 31,632 confirmed cases while 335 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 29,593 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 669. On the other hand, there are 9,442 cases in GB with 166 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 94,402 cases in the capital city while 837 people have lost their lives.
