Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Division seeking revision of rates.

According to details, the regulatory authority has recommended a Rs1 per liter hike in the price of petrol while a Rs10.50 increase in that of high-octane diesel and kerosene oil Rs5.50.
In another suggestion, prices can be maintained by lowering the petroleum levy, another suggestion
The new prices are expected to be announced tomorrow, after the approval by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
However, the Ministry of Finance will take a final decision after consultation with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
