‘Well paid, less played’; Netizens term Afghan-India match as fixed 

The match between India and Afghanistan is over, but, netizens are suspecting foul play— accusing Afghan team of intentionally losing the match in exchange for cash and lucrative IPL contracts. 

Twitteratis across the globe reacted over unexpected performance of Afghanistan cricket team in ongoing T20 World Cup. 

Soon after the Indian innings finished, ‘#fixed match’ started trending on twitter as every cricket fan started discussing poor fielding, no balls and dropped catches.

Feeling smell of match fixing, cricket fans are saying that Afghanistan has been sold to the bookies.  

So far, India have hammered 210 runs on the scoreboard which has become the highest in this edition of T20 World Cup 2021. In yesterday’s match, Afghanistan was able to bag only three wickets. 

Meanwhile, several people believe that it is just vile and simply unfair to the Afghan cricket team that has come leaps and bounds in the sport, especially in light of the current political changes in their country.
