T20 World Cup: Pakistan, Scotland to lock horns; Afghanistan to face New Zealand

Dubai: In the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup, two matches will be played today (Sunday).

In the first match, Afghanistan will take on New Zealand in Abu Dhabi at 3 pm. while the second match will be played between Pakistan and Scotland at Sharjah at 7 pm (Pakistan Standard Time).

In today’s match, Pakistan will look to continue their unbeaten run in their last league match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

Meanwhile, Scotland will be eager to put up their best performance on display to end their run on a high note as the team have lost all their games in the World Cup so far and are thus languishing at the bottom of the points table.

New Zealand are on a three-match winning streak and have bounced back after their loss to Pakistan.

Now, a win against Afghanistan will surely see them qualify for the semi-final while a defeat will see them being ousted from the tournament.

On the other hand, Afghanistan lost to India by 66 runs and they too need to win this match against Black Caps.
