Lahore: Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Usman Khan Shinwari on Tuesday announced his retirement from the longest format of cricket in order to play more matches in shorter formats.
According to details, Pacer Usman Shinwari announced his retirement from the red-ball format in his tweet, following his recovery from his back injury.
Bidding farewell to the Test cricket Shinwari said 'ALHAMDULILLAH I have made my comeback again from back injury and now I am absolutely fit'.
Thanks to @sportsphysiojav ALHAMDULILLAH I have made my comeback again from back injury and now I am absolutely fit but due to my Doctors and physio advises I have to leave Long format to avoid such injuries in future and prolong my Cricket career.I am Resigning from Red ball pic.twitter.com/63gy4J7RKS

The fast bowler further said that following advises of my Doctors and physio I have to leave Long format to avoid such injuries in future and prolong my Cricket career. I am resigning from Red ball.
Shinwari has represented Pakistan in one Test match and played 33 first class matches. He has also played 17 ODIs and 16 T20 Internationals.
