The girl was reportedly murdered in Harbanspura in furtive circumstances.


Lahore: Following a tragic incident, an 18-year-old college woman has been shot dead in Lahore on Wednesday. The victim left her home to go college in the morning.
As per preliminary details, the deceased was a native resident and was living near Ferozepur Road area of Lahore.
The victims’ cousin, identified as Tahir took her on a motorcycle to the house of another cousin named Mustafa in Harbanspura.
The girl was reportedly murdered in Harbanspura in furtive circumstances.
Police, however, arrested both Tahir and Mustafa.
In a bid to cover his crime, Tahir had made a call to the police help line 15 and reported that his cousin was shot following an alleged robbery.
However, when the police interrogated both, they confessed to the killing.
Tahir had facetiously placed gun on victim’s head which suddenly went off, said Police.
In the meantime, a case has been registered under a complaint of the victim’s mother Shamim.
Police has started an investigation into the incident and truth will be revealed after thorough inquiry.
