Prime accused had left for Dubai after planning of attack on the PML-N leader


Lahore: The sources said that notorious bookie Mian Vicky nominated in Bilal Yasin case had fled to Dubai after planning to attack on PML-N’s MPA.
According to the privy sources, Mian Vicky, the main accused nominated in the case of attack on MPA Bilal Yasin, has reached Malaysia. “The prime accused had left for Dubai after planning of attack on the PML-N leader. Later, he left Dubai and reached Malaysia after nominating in the case.”
The sources also said that Mian Vicky will likely to flee from Malaysia to another country. Mian Vicky attacked on Bilal Yasin through two shooters. It further added that both of them had been involved in a dispute for the past some time.
Earlier in the day, Mian Vicky has been nominated in case related to the gun attack on MPA Bilal Yasin in Lahore couple of weeks ago.
On Dec 31, PML-N MPA Bilal Yasin had suffered multiple injuries after unidentified men opened fire at him on Mohni Road in the provincial capital.
Police said the unidentified men were riding a motorcycle. As they shot at the PML-N leader, he was hit by a bullet in his leg and two in his stomach.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar swung into action and ordered Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Fayyaz Ahmed to submit a report and arrest the culprits at the earliest.
"Bilal Yasin must be provided the best possible medical treatment," the chief minister said.
Following the incident, the former Punjab minister was transported to Lahore's Mayo Hospital, the police added.
DIG Operations Lahore Muhammad Abid reached Mayo Hospital as part of investigations.

PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif termed the firing incident an act of "terrorism" and said he was worried for the life of the MPA.
"May God give him health. I urge party workers and the entire nation to pray for his swift recovery," he added.

Inspector General of Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the incident of firing and sought a report from the capital city police chief.
He directed to trace and arrest the accused with the help of Safe Cities cameras' footage and strict legal action.
"Every aspect of the incident should be investigated and all available resources should be used to arrest the accused at the soonest," the provincial police chief said.
