Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack on miners in Dukki district of Balochistan.
In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the incident, prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased miners and expressed his condolences to their families.
The Prime Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the incident and directed to provide them with all possible medical assistance.
Shehbaz Sharif said that he is determined to root out all types of terrorism. He called for a report on the incident.

Two masterminds of Dasu attack killed in escape attempt
Accomplices of the dead terrorists were safe because they were in different vans
Sahiwal: Two mastermind terrorists of Dasu Power Project attack were killed while trying to escape.
According to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), the terrorists were being transferred from Sahiwal Jail based on a threat alert. The attack took place during the transfer of five terrorists involving the mastermind of the attack.
The CTD officials further said that the terrorists tried to rescue the accomplices involved in the Dasu attack and the terrorists Muhammad Hussain and Ayaz were killed on the spot in the exchange of fire.
According to CTD spokesman, the firing incident took place near Sahiwal Sea Road, three accomplices of the dead terrorists were safe because they were in different vans.
It is pertinent to note that 13 people including nine Chinese were killed and more than 20 were injured in the Dasu attack. The court has sentenced the terrorists involved in the Dasu attack to death.

Police-Interpol operation, three minors recovered from Italy
Children were taken into custody by the FIA at Lahore Airport
Lahore: Punjab Police and Interpol Islamabad conducted a joint operation and safely recovered three minors from Italy.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the children's mother had registered a case of child abduction against her husband in Hafizabad police station Vanike Tarar, while father Zubair had quarreled with his wife and forcibly took the three sons with him to Italy six years ago.
According to the spokesman, the children's mother had filed a writ in the Lahore High Court (LHC) for the safe return of the children.
Six years after returning from Italy, the children were taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at Lahore Airport and handed over to the police. Khaqan Bashir, Hussain Bashir and Ashal Bashir are among the recovered kids.
