The power tariff increased in connection with fuel adjustment charges for the month of August

Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved an increase of 19 paisas per unit in electricity tariff.
The Nepra sanctioned the increase in the power rate in connection with fuel adjustment charges for the month of August.
A notification in this regard has been issued.
The raise in electricity prices will not impact lifeline and K-Electric consumers.
On the other hand, NEPRA reduced the power tariff by Rs4.89 per unit for the consumers of K-Electric under the head of the fuel price adjustment.
