Dr. Fauzia finally meets sister Aafia Siddiqui
Dr. Fauzia was not allowed to hug or shake hands with Aafia.
Texas: Pakistani woman scientist Dr. Aafia Siddiqui—imprisoned in America—was finally met by her elder sister Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui.
According to reports, Fauzia Siddiqui met Dr. Aafia after many years in Fort Worth jail.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed stated that another meeting is scheduled again on Thursday in which he will also accompany Dr. Fauzia.
He turned to Twitter and wrote: “Now it is important for the people to raise their voice and force the authorities to take immediate measures and take up the issue of Aafia's release with the US government”.
Summarizing the meeting based on 2:30 hours he stated that Dr. Fauzia was not allowed to hug or shake hands with Aafia.
It is pertinent to note that recently Aafia Siddiqui's sister Fauzia Siddiqui got a US visa to meet her sister.
Pakistani woman Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is a scientist accused of attacking American soldiers in Afghanistan.
In March 2003, Dr. Siddiqui along with her three children went missing from Karachi after the arrest of Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, the main commander of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda and the alleged mastermind of the 9/11 attacks.
