The former Chief Minister will be presented before Anti-Corruption Headquarters Court today (Saturday).


Gujranwala: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s spokesperson Chaudhry Iqbal has been arrested by police from the premises of court in Gujranwala, GNN reported.
According to details, the former Chief Minister will be presented before Duty Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Afzal in Anti-Corruption Headquarters Court today (Saturday) where his physical remand will be requested.
Last night anti-corruption team had arrested Elahi from Lahore in the accusation of taking kickbacks in development projects and transferred him to Gujranwala.
Other than Chaudhry Iqbal, his long-term partner Waqar Hassan has also been arrested. Police is also capturing the party workers and supporters coming to the court.
