Islamabad: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) anti-human trafficking cell has arrested four human traffickers from Islamabad on Saturday.
According to details, the FIA carried out a raid on human smugglers and detained the group's commander, Faisal Lateef, from the E-11 sector of Islamabad, as well as Sudais Ali, Osama Khalid, and Zaid Abbas from the F-8 district.
The human trafficker was arrested over their involvement in illegally sending citizens to Europe en route Turkey and Iran, FIA officials added.
The FIA spokesperson reported that during the operation, many stamps and more than 12 passports were also found.
Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a most wanted human smuggler on Friday.
The authorities said had been involved in smuggling people to Libya, including those who had died in a shipwreck earlier this year.
The Gujrat circle of the FIA has detained Javed Hussain, the most wanted human trafficker who was involved in the Libyan boat accident, according to a statement from the anti-crime organization.
