Islamabad: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause during his statement at the United Nations General Assembly.
In a tweet, the Foreign Minister reiterated Pakistan's commitment to standing with its Palestinian brothers and sisters and pledged to continue doing so.
During his address, Minister Jilani stressed Pakistan's call for the establishment of an independent State of Palestine, based on the borders existing before the 1967 conflict, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital.
He emphasized that advocating for the Palestinian cause aligns with Pakistan's national interests.
Pakistan's enduring support for Palestine underscores its commitment to justice, peace, and the rights of oppressed nations on the international stage.
Pakistan have always stood with Palestinian brothers and sisters. And we will continue to do so.
