PM Kakar fails to appear in IHC in Baloch students case
It should be noted that this was the second time that the court summoned Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar but he did not come.
Islamabad: The caretaker prime minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has failed to appear in Islamabad High Court in the case of missing Baloch students today (Monday).
According to the details, Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has heard the case of missing Baloch students. Attorney General Mansoor Usman appeared in the court.
Mohsin Akhtar stated that there was no such case like narcotics, smuggling etc against our citizens but it took two years to recover them.
He said that he heard a lot of sensitive cases about missing persons but its been 24 months since we have not recovered all the children yet.
Mohsin inquired that have those 12 missing persons still not recovered.
Attorney General replied that according to his information eight students are still not recovered.
Justice Mohsin questioned about the appearance of caretaker prime minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, secretary minister and interior minister.
He also asked about the absence of Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar twice this time.
Secretary Aftab Durani appeared in court.
Mohsin remarked that Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is responsible in this case. There is no person prior to the law. He also asked about the details of these persons if they acted against law.
Justice called this missing person case as a failure to the state having said that some third party has kidnapped these missing persons.
He further said that the previous governments and also this set up could not do anything regarding this case. Their families will be looking for them but the state fails badly to find them.
The court instructed the caretaker prime minister to show his physical appearance at 10am today but he did not come amid his foreign trip.
