Islamabad: The meteorological department predicts rain in most parts of the country on Friday. According to the department, strong winds and thundershowers may hit different parts of the country.
The weather is likely to remain hot and humid in the federal capital Islamabad and its surroundings, but rain with strong winds and thunderstorms has been predicted in the evening and night hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, many districts including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Buner, Mohmand, Khyber, Bajaur, and Malakand are likely to receive rain.
Rain has been predicted in several cities in Punjab including Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Dera Ghazi Khan.
In Balochistan, rain is likely in Zhob, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Kalat, Khuzdar and surrounding areas.
In Sindh, strong winds and thundershowers have been predicted in Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Mithi, Sanghar, Khairpur and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of light rain and drizzle in the coastal areas.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are also likely to receive rain in some areas.
