Lahore: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan congratulated Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif on the launch of the Electricity Bill Relief Program.
Speaker Punjab Assembly met Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, in which he congratulated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on the launch of the electricity bill relief program.
During the meeting, the political situation and the affairs of the provincial assembly were discussed. The development projects of Punjab were also discussed in detail.
Speaker of Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad called the relief of Rs46 billion in the electricity bill as a historic move.
On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz stated that the provincial cabinet took a historic step by approving the Awam Dost program. Unlike the traditions of the past, people's money is now being spent for their relief.
