NCOC takes major decision to speed up vaccine roll out

According to GNN, the NCOC reduced the interval between the first and second doses of all types of vaccines from 42 days to 28 days.  The decision was made in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

Moreover, vaccination has been made mandatory for air travel after September 10. Partial vaccination certificate will not be valid after September 10 and all federal units have been informed in this regard.

Pakistan continues to report a share surge in Covid-19 deaths as threat of delta variant looms large in Pakistan.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,856 cases of coronavirus were reported while 81 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 24,085.

The total number of confirmed cases reached to 1,080,360.

As many as 972,098 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,530 critical cases.
