‘Vote of Confidence’: Opposition decides to boycott National Assembly session tomorrow
Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has categorically decided to boycott the session of National Assembly scheduled tomorrow.
PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman while talking to media said that the opposition alliance has decided to boycott the scheduled session of National Assembly tomorrow in which PM Imran Khan is set to take ‘Vote of Confidence’.
He said that not a single member of the opposition coalition will participate in the upcoming of NA assembly sitting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the Nation on Thursday announced to seek a ‘Vote of Confidence’ from Lower House of parliament.
President Dr Arif Alvi has convened a meeting of the National Assembly on March 6 at 12 noon in which the Prime Minister will seek a vote of confidence from the House.
It may be recalled that after the defeat of government candidate Hafeez Shaikh from the Islamabad seat in the Senate elections, Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to take a vote of confidence from the House.
