‘Imran Khan’s threats to Asif Ali Zardari intolerable’: Bilawal
Bilawal retaliated that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari had been injured following a pre-planned scheme.
Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday stated that threats of Prime Minister Imran Khan to former president Asif Ali Zardari will not be tolerated anymore.
While addressing media persons in Islamabad today, Bilawal retaliated that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari had been injured following a pre-planned scheme.
Bilawal alleged that his sister Aseefa Bhutto Zardari was attacked during their rally in Khanewal—demanding an in-depth investigation from concerned authorities.
As per reports the drone—which was mounted with a camera—was being used for the media coverage of the march and went inside the container where Aseefa was standing atop.
Following the incident, Bilawal's security staff got hold of the drone operator, saying that it was not immediately clear whether the incident was an accident or the consequence of a deliberate act.
Referring to Imran Khan's remark about having Asif Ali Zardari on his target, PPP chairman said that such threats will not be tolerated anymore.
“My family and party (PPP) had made a number of sacrifices for Pakistan,” said Bilawal, adding that he is not a kid anymore— in reference to his young age at the time of his mother and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination.
Bashing Imran Khan, he further added, “What I am planning to do, will be remembered by your next generations”.
Mentioning 2018 elections, Bilawal, stated that the mistake made by the parliament will now be altered and the opposition will remove Imran Khan from power.
Mr Bilawal has said that Imran Khan should do, whatever he wants to do, because the time is running low.
He said that we do not have a personal tiff with Prime Minister, the reaction to his political statement will be political.
While responding to statement of the premier, Bilawal, said that he has never used a gun but knows how to use it.
"Imran Khan is using more foul language as he could see his end coming," he added, saying that now abusing will not save the Prime Minister's chair.
