It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan is currently in the grip of a severe monsoon system that has led to a calamity. Heavy rains have triggered flash floods and wreaked havoc across the country, creating a humanitarian crisis. Over 1 million people were affected while over 1,000 people were killed by heavy rains and floods.
The floods perished almost everything including animals, houses, and infrastructure in the affected areas.
