MS of Lahore’s hospital suspended after hundreds of COVID-19 vaccine go missing
Lahore: The Medical Superintendent of Lahore’s Services hospital has been suspended on Thursday after 550 doses of the coronavirus vaccine disappeared from the stock.

As per details, 350 doses of coronavirus vaccines stored at Lahore's Government Mozang Teaching Hospital have been wasted while 550 Covid-19 vaccine jabs have been disappeared from the stock in the Services Hospital.
The principal of Services hospital Dr Amjad claimed that the vaccines have not disappeared but there has been an issue with the compilation of records.
Following the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice and sought a detailed report from the health department.
“Mishandling of vaccine doses will not be tolerated,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid stated that the government is carrying out an audit of the missing vaccine doses and a report regarding the incident will be submitted soon.
