The Prime Minister will attend the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the Future Investment Initiative Summit, set to be held in Riyadh.
According to details, PM Shehbaz Sharif is paying an official visit to Riyadh on Monday at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman.
During his stay in Riyadh, the Prime Minister would hold consultations with the Saudi Crown Prince to review the longstanding fraternal relations, with a view to further strengthening the multifaceted cooperation, especially in the economic field.
The Prime Minister will also attend the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit.
In his tweets regarding his participation in the Future Investment Initiative Summit, the Prime Minister said there are serious concerns about the threat of global recession hitting the economies.
PM said that the present state of the global economy needs new thinking and bold vision to overcome the irritants and forge new paths.
Shehbaz Sharif said the pandemic and climate-induced disasters have already put immense strains on developing countries. He said it is high time that the world explores solutions to the deepening challenges through candid dialogue.
