T20 World Cup: Pakistan register their first win, beat Netherlands by six wickets
This is Pakistan's first-ever win in Australia in a T20I.
Perth: Pakistan registered its first win in the T20 World Cup as they defeated Netherlands by 6 wickets in Perth.
The national team produced a superb bowling performance to restrict Netherlands to 91/9 in their crucial Group 2 encounter, sealing a six-wicket win.
With this win, Pakistan clinched their first points of the tournament.
The green shirts will next face South Africa on November 3.
They still are far away from qualifying for the semi-finals. After losing their first two matches against arch-rivals India and Zimbabwe, Pakistan will be looking to win this match by a significant margin to stay relevant in the tournament.
