Rana Sanaullah leaves for London on Nawaz Sharif's call
The reports suggest that Nawaz Sharif is not happy with the prevailing political situation in Punjab and he has summoned the Interior Minister to discuss the matters.
Lahore: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday departed for London to meet his leader PML-N Supermo Nawaz Sharif.
Rana Sanaullah used private airline to fly to London.
According to the reports, Mian Nawaz Sharif directed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to come and meet him in London as he is not happy with the prevailing political situation in Punjab.
The former PM would also discuss the political situation and hold deliberations over the matter of forming a parliamentary board.
The development took place after the PML-N failed to stop the PTI and PML-Q from dissolving Punjab Assembly and losing legal battle.
Earlier reports emerged that PML-N lawmakers held Atta Tarar, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister, as responsible for failure in Punjab Assembly. The party leaders also exchanged harsh words during a meeting. A senior PML-N leader and former MPA strongly criticized SAPM Atta Tarar over defeat in the provincial assembly.
“People who are sitting in the gallery are responsible for this defeat in Punjab Assembly,” the sources quoted him as saying. He was also quoted as saying that his misunderstanding and wrong planning that Chaudhar y Pervaiz Elahi won the vote of confidence.
It may be mentioned here that PML-N senior leader and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah was also there in the gallery the day when vote of confidence was taken by Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi.
