PTI to protest against Fawad Ch’s ‘Illegal’ detention
The party will stage protest at GPO Chowk Lahore.
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Monday announced to stage protest today over the ‘illegal’ arrest of party leader Fawad Chaudhry.
PTI leader Musarrat Jamsheed Cheema stated: “PTI will protest at the GPO Chowk today against the ‘illegal’ custody of Fawad,” adding that lawyers, workers of civil society and PTI will record their protest.
She assured that Fawad and his family have firm support of PTI.
It is pertinent to note that earlier a case had been registered against the party lerader in Islamabad over the complaint of Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Omer Hamid Khan.
