Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday has announced to operate directs flights to Bahrain from Lahore, starting next month.

According to details, the flights will operate from Allama Iqbal Airport starting from May 05.
The national carrier will operate two flights to Bahrain weekly, for which arrangements have been put in place.
As per PIA official, the flights would be increased for Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and the national flag-carrier would operate five flights in a week between Pakistan and Afghanistan phase one.
In the second phase, seven flights would operate between Pakistan and Kabul on daily basis.
Earlier on April 06, Pakistan International Airlines announced that it will operate three more flights to the United Kingdom (UK) ahead of the April 09 travel ban. According the which, the national flag carrier will operate two flights to Manchester on April 07 and 08 while one to London on April 08.
The airline has taken the approval of UK government to operate more flights before the travel ban comes into effect.
