PM expands "Koi bhooka na Soye" programme
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan Sunday has announced to expand the scope of "Koi bhooka na Soye" programme across the country.
According to details, the Premier in a ceremony held in Islamabad extended the scope of "Koi bhooka na Soye" programme before the holy month of Ramazan for more cities.

Under this program, free food will be provided to deserving and backward people in Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar.

“Later, truck kitchens will be spread across the country,” PM said.
Addressing the function, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he wanted to create kindliness for poor people among the government, people and Chief Minister. The programme will be promoted in phases and its scope will be spread all over the country, food will be provided to the poor through mobile kitchens.

“We are in a difficult situation, debts are high, despite the hard condition, "Koi bhooka na Soye" programme will be sanctified by Allah.
Addressing the function, the Prime Minister said that the history of the world has witnessed that the state of Madinah had emerged as the largest nation. It is the responsibility of the state to uplift the weaker sections of society.
PM on the occasion extended special thanks to Saylani Welfare Trust on behalf of the nation.
PM Imran Khan said that our country is one of the few countries in the world that gives the most charity, Shaukat Khanum Hospital was built with charity, more than 75% of patients were treated for free.
Speaking of the function, the Prime Minister said that shelters have been set up for the workers in different cities. The workers can stay in the living stations and send money home.
Addressing Punjab and KP Chief Ministers, PM said that Usman Bazdar and Mehmood Khan reserved the money for the provision of the health cards in difficult circumstances, under the scheme, treatment up to Rs1 million can be taken from any hospital.
Earlier, the Federal government had launched the "No one sleeps hungry" programme.
According to the details, under the programme 2,000 poor people are provided two meals a day.
Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the programme under which prepared food will be delivered to the poor, labourers and special people in hospitals, slums and public places in food trucks.

According to the Ministry of Social Security and Poverty Alleviation, the programme is launched in the first phase in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
All operational responsibilities of the programme will be with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, however, the food will be provided by a private organisation, Sailani Trust. According to ministry officials, the program is an extension of the Ehsas Langar programme, which will now deliver food to the poor via trucks.
Prime Minister Imran Khan while inaugurating the No one sleeps hungry programme, has announced to provide subsidy to 30 million families in June.
Addressing the inaugural function of the ‘No Hunger to Sleep’ Programme in Islamabad, the premier said that it is a great pleasure to see the shelter is provided to the deserving people and now it was necessary to provide quality food to the underprivileged.
The Prime Minister said for workers, shelter is a blessing and due to this initiative deserving people can eat with dignity, soon our trucks will provide food all over Pakistan.
Many philanthropists are contacting to participate in ‘Langar’ program, he added.
Imran Khan said that health cards are being given to the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan, through which one can get treatment up to Rs1 million from any hospital.
“On June, 30 million families will be provided subsidy. We will transfer money in the relevant persons’ accounts and also give subsidy to the farmers in June.”
