Lahore: Lawyer Shahid Rana Wednesday challenges the ‘Practice and Procedure Act 2023’ before Supreme Court Lahore registry, GNN reported.
According to details, Shahid Rana requested to declare the act invalid. He maintained that it is administrative authority of Chief Justice of Pakistan to form the benches.
The petition stated that implementation of such law is tantamount to curtailing the powers of Supreme Court which is not acceptable at all.
