Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in two cases till May 16, GNN reported.
According to details, a written order was issued on the bail application yesterday filed by PTI chief in cases of attack on Mohsin Shahnawaz and statement against the institutions.
The order further stated that the arrest of Imran Khan in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) case is legal, however the registrar of High Court should inquire into the torture and other matters.
The court also issued contempt notices to the Interior Secretary and the Inspector General (IG) Islamabad.
The registrar was directed to file First Information Report (FIR) against those responsible and adjourned further hearing of the case till May 16.
