Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Farrukh Habib breathed a sigh of relief as the Lahore High Court (LHC) issued a favorable order on Tuesday, granting his request to be removed from the Exit Control List (ECL).

According to details, Justice Anwar-ul-Haq of LHC delivered the verdict during the hearing of Farrukh Habib's plea, which was submitted by his lawyer, Ahmed Pansota, on Monday.

Following comprehensive arguments presented by both parties, the court carefully considered the matter and reserved its decision.

The circumstances leading to Habib's plea originated from an incident on April 28, when he was scheduled to travel to Dubai.

To his dismay, he was denied boarding the plane at Lahore airport and informed that his name had been added to the no-fly list.

In his plea before the court, Habib earnestly sought the return of his passport and belongings, and he requested the federal government to expunge his name from the ECL. He emphasized the violation of his freedom of movement, which prompted the legal action.
