Order to prevent Imran’s arrest in new cases extended till May 31
The federal government sought respite to provide details of the cases.
Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday extended its order to prevent the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in any further case till May 31.
According to details, Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the case on the petition of seeking details of cases filed against Imran and to prevent his arrest in more than 100 cases in IHC.
Additional Attorney General, Advocate General and State Counsel appeared in the court. While Imran’s lawyer Barrister Gohar appeared in the court on his behalf.
The federal government sought respite to provide details of the cases, which the court granted and adjourned the hearing till May 31.
The court also extended the order to prevent Imran Khan from being arrested in any further case till May 31.
