Judge declared order of 3MPO against Shah as annulled.

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday ordered to release Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, GNN reported.
According to details, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the case in the presence of Lawyer Faiza Asad Malik and Lawyer Taimoor Malik for the petition filed against the arrest of PTI’s Shah Mehmood under Section 3 of Maintenance of Public Order (3MPO).
Judge declared order of 3MPO against Shah as annulled.
The court ordered to submit a written statement (affidavit) by Shah Mehmood, responding to which his lawyer said as soon as he is released, the statement will be submitted in the court.
His lawyer stated: “Shah Mehmood is 65-year-old and has a long political career and has never encouraged anyone to create violence, instead he shared a video message to stop the vandalism”.
It is pertinent to note that after the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, the agitators had created a severe disturbance and caused severe damage to government property.
