Doctors amputate leg to save life of Indian actor
The actor was taken to Mysore Medical College Hospital.
Mumbai: According to reports in the Indian media, 24-year-old Suraj Kumar, who was about to make his debut in the film industry, suffered a serious leg injury in a tragic traffic accident.
Suraj Kumar, who is associated with the Canadian film industry, was riding a motorcycle on the Mysore Highway when he lost balance while trying to overtake a tractor, resulting in a crash.
He was immediately rushed to Mysore Medical College Hospital, where doctors had to amputate his leg in order to save his life.
According to the Indian media report, at the time of the accident, Suraj Kumar was working on the film "Ratham" and was also involved in a project with actress Priya Prakash.
